How does the program work? We build your training program each month, using information from your Questionnaire, and ongoing personal interaction. On a weekly basis, we review your program, and any input you provide, and adjust your program accordingly. Communication is encouraged, so I can better monitor your progress and provide guidance for optimal performance. BRAVO ULTRA explores the entire body of work: efficient time spent, motivation, running strategies and nutrition.
Coaching Interaction To ensure I have the necessary time to provide exemplary service, I maintain a low coach-athlete ratio to give up to four hours each month to work on your schedule and answer your phone calls and emails. This time includes a balance of schedule review and modification, and athlete-initiated phone conversations and email correspondence. Typically, ULTRA members call once/twice a week and communicate via email 2/4 times each week. You may find it necessary to exceed this frequency of contact with your coach, and we welcome that.
The BRAVO ULTRA Difference All-around approach to ATTITUDE. What is needed is different for everyone. From our visits, we work together to trigger that component. There are various ways to be pushed to do or explore what is outside our comfort zone. My consultation with you is all-encompassing, as we dig deep to find what works best for you. More than schedules, miles run, and number of pushups accomplished, this is the consummate approach to getting everything from your time put in….both physically and mentally.
CORE TRAINING: Strength and flexibility; helps you live and perform better.
OWN-BODY RESISTANCE: Easily done at home, traveling….focuses on balance, endurance and sport-specific performance
PROPRIOCEPTION: Resistance-training that focuses on the relative position of neighboring parts of the body, how they react and with what amount of tension. This very specific training lends to how tendons and ligaments work together most efficiently.
UPGRADE FROM PREMIUM: Includes 2 face-to-face sessions/month, one running and one “core” (or different as per need) where we explore issues and questions you have. We approach the mental aspect at its highest level as well. Working together, we learn to give you the necessary tools-those INTANGIBLES-that allow you to reach new and life-long goals.
